Kyunghee University (경희대학교)
The Institute of International Education began as the Kyung Hee University Audiovisual Education Institute in 1970. In 1997, the Institute began to offer language and culture courses based on Kyung Hee’s goal to “create a cultural world,” and was reborn as the Institute of International Education that exists today. IIE is the first Korean education institution to initiate a “Korean Helpers” program, bridging the gap between different languages and cultures to enhance mutual cultural understanding. We have also strived to provide venues where people from around the world can come together by hosting various Korean language events, such as the World Korean Speech Contest for Foreigners and the Korean Fair for Foreigners.
